If you find a bump on your pet, do not assume that it is a tick. Often clients are trying to pull off a nipple ( yep, male dogs and cats also have nipples), a wart, or a skin growth of some kind. Before attempting to remove it, look carefully and closely at the "mass" close to the skin. Ticks have legs. If you do not see any legs, DO NOT try to remove it! Instead bring your pet in for an evaluation. When in doubt, DO NOT PULL IT OUT!
Now that the weather is improving we are starting to see ticks. We have several products that are very effective at keeping your pet tick and flea free.
